Duane Michals “Moment of Perfection”
“He was unaware that at the exact moment he removed his undershirt, his body had grown to its perfection. With his next breath, the moment had passed.”
So today I was filing some ephemera at the Portland Art Museum library, and I got nostalgic for Futurism. Irony abounds!
P.S. I know no one cares about Futurism. I’ll go back to posting black and white photos of naked ladies soon enough. But don’t you think the cute doggie picture will get some reblogs?
P.P.S Also, Trotsky. Show Trotsky some love.
P.P.P.S When I say “nostalgic for Futurism” I really mean nostalgic for learning about Futurism in my awesome modern art classes in college. I’m not actually nostalgic for proto-Facism. (See Trotsky below) And seriously, that is a cute little doggie picture.
